Datwyler is looking forward to participating as an exhibitor at the 6th Wearable Expo in Tokyo, Japan, from February 14 – 16. With more than 60,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors, Wearable Expo is the world's leading exhibition for wearable devices and technologies, and growing every year.
Datwyler produces over 16 billion high-quality components for healthcare applications each year. By entering emerging markets, leveraging lean production processes, and building upon an optimized supply chain, Datwyler is prepared to master the challenges of the global healthcare industry. For our way forward, strategic partnerships are of utmost importance which is why Datwyler continuously invests in these cooperations with international innovative hubs, companies or universities. The resulting synergies enable us to develop high-quality, future-proof medical products that lead to improved offerings for our customers.
Thanks to its high potential for future development, the field of wearables remains of key importance for the healthcare industry. In this area, Datwyler introduced SoftPulseTM, its soft dry electrodes, which are the company’s proposition for a patient-friendly long-term bio-signal monitoring. SoftPulseTM allows dry signal acquisition which eliminates the use of gels and decreases skin irritation significantly. The specific design and characteristics enable usage without special skin preparation and freedom of area for monitoring. It simplifies the correct placement and allows patients to apply the electrodes outside the hospital, thus significantly increasing their comfort. Furthermore, the soft dry electrodes are very robust, can be cleaned easily and repeatedly used. Datwyler’s SoftPulseTM offers high wearing comfort, is flexible, and biocompatible. The higher comfort leads to a higher degree of relaxation, which in most therapies is of high importance.
