In-house tool room for fast prototyping

Absolute precision, specialised expertise, short response times – Daetwyler’s tool room is the link between engineering and manufacturing. With our in-house mould making capabilities and modular mould base system, our customers benefit from rapid prototype and production tooling. State-of-the-art programming systems (3D-CAD Pro Engineer) and interfaces to all common CAD systems ensure universal data exchange.

Seasoned professionals

We have a team of 16 seasoned professionals working to precision tolerances of a thousandth of a millimetre to ensure trouble-free production and long tool life. And we can maintain and, if necessary, repair or alter existing moulds fast and flexibly.

State-of-the-art machinery

Our tool room is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art machinery, all purchased while restoring the facility after the flood in 2005. The use of robots in CNC milling and die-sinking EDM maximises our productivity and even allows us to keep mould inserts or electrodes running unattended overnight or over the weekend.
