Datwyler develops and produces extruded elastomer seals for:

• Pipe seals and gaskets

Datwyler pipe seals and concrete pipe gaskets made of solid rubber or porous material have been known in the market for years.
With our versatile production machines, we are equipped to make all kinds of seals for concrete pipes. Our products range from rolling ring seals, wedge seals, and shaft seals to anchored seals, both mono- and coextruded. The material and form of the products are designed to suit the specific application, thus ensuring problem-free reliability.
High quality is essential for long-lasting pipe connections. Our products resist aging and chemical exposure, delivering long service life. Depending on the requirements, the seals are made of SBR, EPDM, or NBR. Combining different materials in one seal is possible through coextrusion.

• Joint and expansion joint seals

Our permanently elastic joint seals for aging- and weather-resistant performance are characterized by great adaptability. Drainage profiles are used for retrofit joint sealing. New rehabilitation seals are developed in close collaboration with our customers.
Expansion joint seals made of elastomer are used to seal expansion joints or construction joints in civil engineering works. Using our modern production equipment, we manufacture all forms of Part 2 of DIN 7865 in SBR and EPDM.
In addition, we produce a great number of special profiles.

• Hydrophilic seals

We develop these sealing systems individually according to the specific requirements. We offer the combination of a compression and expansion seal as a primary/secondary seal or as a coextruded solution. Datwyler holds multiple international patents for these products.

• Pavement transition profiles

Our production palette ranges from seals for parking deck joints to profiles for slat transitions and transition profiles in matting.
Datwyler will design and produce a suitable profile for your roadway transition structures, choosing the optimal materials for the application (EPDM, SBR, NBR).
With our versatile production equipment, we can produce profiles weighing from just a few hundred grams up to several kg/m.
