08. Sep 2016 Datwyler participates at InnoTrans 2016 in Berlin

From September 20 – 23, Datwyler exhibits at InnoTrans in Berlin – where groundbreaking innovations are being introduced and future-oriented joint ventures are being sealed. Every year, InnoTrans registers increasing numbers of exhibitors and trade visitors (2014: 133‘595, 2012: 121‘066). The trade fair is considered a source of inspiration for the international rail industry. Under the slogan „Length is our strength“, Datwyler presents – among other products – their RCS Rail Comfort Systems.

RCS (Rail Comfort System) is Datwyler’s high-performance elastic rail seating systems that not only reduce both stray current losses and vibrations, but also go a long way towards eliminating structure-borne sound in tram transport. RCS fulfils all that is needed for full and environment-friendly rail insulation against stray current and vibrations. It is perfectly suited to all sections of straight and curved rail as well as all switches and crossings. The vulcanized rubber profiles can be retrofitted on-site as well as in the factory. With their high insulation properties, great flexibility, and longevity even under the severest weather conditions, they are guaranteed to provide the optimum solution. They can be applied to any type of surface, for example street running, segregated and grass tracks. „It was our ambition to integrate all of our customers‘ requirements in the best and most advanced manner into an innovative system. This is how we created something completely new – something that is radically different and that challenges the status quo: Datwyler’s RCS Rail Comfort Systems,“ says Matthias Klug, Product Manager Track Superstructure. Apart from its RCS Rail Comfort Systems, Datwyler presents additional future-oriented products and solutions.

With a fair ground spanning over a surface of 103,409 m2, 149 rail vehicles, 3‘500 m of track systems, and 140 world premieres, InnoTrans is the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology. It is here where trade visitors from 146 countries and 2‘761 exhibiting companies from the transport industry come together. It is here where outstanding innovations are born. It is here where the future is created.
