The Warehouse Operator works to ensure the production operation has necessary raw materials in order to keep production lines running on time and in full. Warehouse Operator receives and ships materials and finished goods in accordance with the production schedule.
A strong understanding of supply chain and flow of product from raw material through finished goods in a manufacturing facility. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical, pharma packaging or OEM to pharma. Must be able to operate forklift and various warehouse equipment. Must be computer proficient. Knowledge of SAP or MRP sys-tems is a plus. Minimum of High School diploma is required.
This position requires moving about as much as 100% of the workday in and throughout the plant; and the occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Objects are handled regularly, tools and machinery controls are manipulated, and items positioned above the head and on the floor must be reached. This position can require occasional squatting, stooping, bending or crouching. Work is done in the plant where safety is a critical concern. PPE must be worn.
