The position
Initially, the position will hold significant responsibility as part of greenfield project team to assist in the setup of a clean, pharma packaging manufacturing environment, including but not limited to: procurement of local equipment and goods, setting up raw materials schedules, production planning schedules and authoring local work instructions. Once the state of the art manufacturing facility is operational the incumbent will manage the supply chain department locally.

Operations Support: Supports local operation by ensuring adequate inventory of all raw materials, effectively planning production schedule and ensuring shipments of finished goods according to schedule.

Supply Chain Management: Manages and oversees the full supply chain cycle locally beginning with purchasing and ending with customer delivery, on time and in full.

Procurement: Leads and manages procurement of local equipment, goods and consumables, promoting the procurement of standard Datwyler equipment.

Position Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a supply chain function team in global organization, rubber or pharma packaging manufacturing environment a plus. Experience with SAP/MRP required.
During the initial training incumbent will be required to travel regionally and internationally for training. During the first year of employment travel expectation will be a minimum of 25%-30% international travel. After initial training incumbent can expect travel requirement of approximately 5%-10% yearly.
