Key Account Manager “Diagnostics & Disposables”

Your main area of responsibility is to maintain a best-in-class Customer Relationship Management. Being the primary point of contact for your customer, you guarantee an outstanding and reliable service experience for high-level customer satisfaction. For Customer Portfolio Management, you manage and develop new business within the account portfolio, utilizing Strategic Account Management and Market Strategy instruments, and ensure a flawless collaboration and communication with all departments within the value chain. In addition, you negotiate commercial agreements compliant with the segment’s targets. For Budget Setting and Achievement, you set budget targets and secure the achievement of budget figures by monitoring KPIs and performing Forecast Management. For Market Strategy, you provide customer, market, and competitor information, support the Head of Sales of “Diagnostics & Disposables” in strategy planning, and translate the segment strategy into respective market strategy by developing the Strategic Account Model (SAM Plan) for your customer portfolio and execute it on focused action.

You have a bachelor degree and relevant work experience in the medical device or pharma packaging industry as well as robust knowledge of respective customer base and market and the product life cycles applied in drug and device development. A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of marketing, sales, and new business development processes is a plus. You love to solve problems, to perform research, and to dive into new projects in order to exceed customers’ expectations. You have good communication, teamwork, leadership, and project management skills, show strategic efficiency, pro-activity, strong commitment and enthusiasm, and you are willing to travel (70%) within Europe and occasionally overseas.

In this function, you are part of the Global Sales Team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales Diagnostics & Disposables. You are home-office based.
