The position
Initially, the position will hold significant responsibility as part of greenfield project team to assist in the setup of a clean, pharma packaging manufacturing environment. Once the state of the art manufacturing facility is operational the incumbent will move into an engineering support function for the local operation.

Areas of responsibility


Production Support: Serves as subject matter expert on automated systems and supports operations and maintenance in equipment reliability.

Process Monitoring and Review: reviews the process data of the automated equipment and systems regularly to detect process variabilities and to identify opportunities for improvement and to minimize down time.

Continuous Improvement: will follow up on process performance and suggest and introduce improvements. Will manage projects in line with the good standards (Safety, Quality, Time, Budget) and continuously work to improve standard processes.

Position Requirements: a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, rubber or pharma packaging manufacturing environment a plus. Knowledge of SAP/MES required. Experience working with camera inspection systems a plus. ATEX understanding a plus. Six Sigma training preferred.
During the initial training incumbent will be required to travel to Europe for extensive process/product training. During the first year of employment travel expectation will be a minimum of 25%-30% international travel. After initial training incumbent can expect travel requirement of approximately 5%-10% yearly.
